Community Update

After Dark in the Park Bring your flashlight and enjoy a Halloween-themed family fun event at Sehmel Park Pavilion on Saturday, October 19 from 7-9 p.m.  Naturalist-led night hikes begin promptly at 7 and 8 p.m.  Other highlights include a costume parade at 7:45 p.m., a haunted trail (ages 8+); plus games, activities, and crafts for all ages.  Free hot cider and hot chocolate.  Tickets are $10 per family if purchased in advance or $12/ family at the door.   Proceeds from this fundraiser benefit GGHF Curious by Nature School's Steward Scholarship Fund.  Register online at www.gigharborfoundation.org/after-dark-in-the-park or call 253-858-5064.
