On March 28, a 97-year-old woman felt dizzy and lost consciousness for several minutes. Paramedics evaluated the woman and transported her for treatment at a hospital.

On March 29, a 76-year-old man complaining of flu-like symptoms was transported to a hospital for further assessment.

On March 29, firefighters responded to an alarm at a two story commercial structure. After investigation, a security technician was performing routine maintenance and accidently triggered the alarm.

On March 30, a 63-year-old man with an uncontrollable nosebleed was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

On March 30, an 89-year-old woman was treated and transported to the hospital after a diabetic seizure.

On March 31, firefighters responded to a home after its sprinkler system hose burst. The water system was turned off to the sprinkler system in the yard.

On March 31, a low hanging wire across a road on Fox Island was elevated for safe passage.

On March 31, firefighters responded to a report of smoke at a home. Upon arrival, they found steam from the furnace and no fire at the house.

On April 1, firefighters arrived at a residence where the homeowner was having a small recreational fire. He was abiding by all regulations and allowed to continue without putting out the fire.

On April 2, a homeowner called 911 to report a cooking oil fire on the stovetop causing damage to the microwave and surrounding cabinetry. The fire was extinguished prior to firefighters’ arrival and confirmed no fire extension into the kitchen.

On April 3, a home was evacuated with a report of an appliance fire. The resident reported that the refrigerator started to produce smoke and a strong odor. The power was turned off at the home, and residents were evacuated. After investigating, firefighters did not find any signs of fire.

On April 5, burning butter activated a smoke alarm, and the house-sitter requested assistance to reset the fire alarm system.

On April 5, a 70-year-old female was transported to a hospital after a hypoglycemic episode caused her to nearly lose consciousness. 

On April 5, an 80-year-old woman fell from her walker and injured her arm on a piece of furniture. The patient was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

On April 6, a 64-year-old man experienced sharp chest pain after pressure washing his home. Medics transported him to a local hospital for further treatment.

On April 6, a 64-year-old woman fell and struck the back of her head onto an appliance.  During evaluation she became unresponsive and was transported to a hospital.

On April 7, a 77-year-old woman fell suddenly and was taken to a hospital to evaluate further.

On April 8, medics responded to a 73-year-old woman who was experiencing increasing chest pressure and pain. The crew evaluated and transported her to a hospital for further treatment.

On April 8, firefighters responded to an activated residential carbon monoxide alarm. The alarm had stopped by the time the crew arrived. The homeowner replaced the alarm’s battery after firefighters confirmed that there were no readings of CO in the home.

On April 9, a 70-year-old woman was transported to a hospital after experiencing abdominal pain that radiated down her leg.

On April 9, the smell of natural gas was reported inside a school, possibly from the water heater or furnace. The school was evacuated safely, and the source of the leak was determined to be from an unused gas connection for a stovetop. They contacted Puget Sound Energy to the school to cap the pipe.

On April 10, a 14-year-old boy playing soccer was accidently struck in the back of the neck by another player’s head. He was evaluated and transported to a hospital for further treatment.

On April 11, medics responded to a head-on collision near Purdy. They transported a 16-year-old girl for a headache.

On April 11, the foot of a motorcyclist was caught under his bike after losing traction, spun out and ended up in the ditch. He first called his wife to the scene who was unable to free his foot. They later called 911 for further assistance. Rider was not injured after evaluation.

On April 12, a 5-year-old boy fell from a bench onto his arm. He was transported for treatment at a local hospital.

On April 13, firefighters responded to a car accident. Medics transported a 48-year-old woman to the hospital for neck pain.

On April 14, firefighters responded to smoke and sparks from a baseboard heater. They cut off power from the electrical panel of the heater. Firefighters confirmed no fire had extended into the wall, and residents were allowed to safely return to their apartments

On April 14, an 84-year-old woman complaining of hip pain after a fall was transported to a hospital for further treatment.
