Firefighters Respond to Dairy Queen Kitchen Fire

The fire was reported shortly before 2 p.m. Sunday.

Gig Harbor firefighters responded to a kitchen fire at the Dairy Queen at the intersection of Point Fosdick Drive N.W. and Olympic Drive N.W. shortly before 2 p.m. Sunday.

Department spokesman Eric Waters said the fire was contained when Patch reached him at about 2:30 p.m.

The restaurant's manager, reached my phone, confirmed the fire was out and no staff members or customers were injured.
