GHPD Blotter: Police Find Backpack With Drug Paraphernalia Inside

Motor Vehicle Theft: On May 18, police responded to , 6100 Soundview Dr., in reference to a reported vehicle theft. The victim said her truck, valued at $12,000, was stolen sometime overnight. The truck was found several days later in the 2700 block of 43rd Avenue NW. The stereo had been removed. Police found the keys under the driver seat.

Found Property: On May 19, a employee found a black backpack on the outdoor patio at 5500 Olympic Dr. The bag contained miscellaneous drug paraphernalia items including two glass pipes, small baggies and a metal tin that previously contained marijuana.

Vandalism: On May 19, police responded to a location in the 3400 block of Erickson Street. The wires to the street lights were cut. Three of the street lights were not working.

DUI/Arrest: On May 19, police arrested a male driver in the 6600 block of Wollochet Drive for DUI.

Identity Theft: On May 21, police were dispatched to a residence in the 5400 block of 35th Avenue NW regarding identity theft report. An unknown suspect had used the victim's information to open an AT&T account and charged $812.

DUI/Reckless Driving/DWLS/Arrest: On May 22, police witnessed a pickup truck accelerate and turn at a high speed at 5500 Olympic Drive. The car lost control and skidded 360-degree before coming to a stop. Police cited the 27-year-old male driver for DUI, reckless driving and second-degree DWLS.

DWLS/Arrest: On May 22, police arrested a 42-year-old female driver in the 5800 block of Soundview Drive for third-degree DWLS. She was also issued an infraction for no proof of insurance.

Theft: On May 22, the victim was dining at and accidentally left her cell phone on the table while she went to the restroom. In the meantime, her boyfriend was taking care of the bill at the register. When she returned, the phone was missing.

DWLS/Arrest: On May 22, police arrested a 42-year-old female driver for DWLS near Reid Drive and Hollycroft Street.
