GHPD Blotter: Woman Arrested in Connection With Stolen Credit Cards

Vehicle Prowl/Arrest: On Nov. 28, police responded to a vehicle prowl in the 8200 block of Novak Street. Upon arrival, they found that an unknown suspect(s) pried open the door and stole the victim's purse with two credit cards, cash, gift cards and other items. The victim immediately canceled the credit cards, but she noticed that the suspect had used one of her cards at , and Kitsap Community Federal Credit Union ATM within an hour of the vehicle prowl.

Police were later able to identify the suspect from the surveillance video at Target. An officer from the Lakewood Police Department also recognized the 47-year-old Fircrest woman from an incident a day prior to the vehicle prowl. According to records, the female suspect had an extensive theft- and drug-related history. Authorities arrested the woman for two counts of second-degree theft and one count of forgery.

Warrant/Arrest: On Dec. 1, police arrested a 47-year-old man in the 3000 block of East Bay Drive NW for two outstanding warrants.

DUI/Arrest: On Dec. 1, police arrested a 53-year-old woman for DUI in the 3100 block of Judson Street.

Vehicle Prowl: Sometime between Dec. 2 and 3, an unknown suspect(s) broke the passenger front window of a car in the 2900 bock of Harborview Drive. The items missing were four pair of women's sunglasses and two phone chargers.

Residential Burglary/Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance/Arrest: On Dec. 3, police responded to Norwegian Wood Apartments, 3405 Erickson St., in reference to a burglary. After investigating, the officers arrested a 25-year-old man for stealing a 19-inch television. They also found three Mylan 1101 pills, which are available through prescription, marijuana pipe and .2 grams of marijuana.

DWLS/Arrest: On Dec. 6, police arrested a 21-year-old man near North Creek Lane and Beaver Creek Lane for third-degree DWLS for unpaid tickets.
