More than 1,200 local residents stopped by to enjoy some free food, games and music at Gig Harbor's second annual National Night Out.

National Night Out is a “community-wide” block party designed to heighten crime prevention awareness and an enjoyable means to promote neighborhood spirit, build police-community partnerships and send a message to potential criminals letting them know we will not tolerate crime in our community.
