Democratic Caucuses Set for April 15

Here’s how to get involved.

Democrats plan to hold precinct caucuses across Washington state on Sunday, April 15, where they’ll select their presidential nominee, discuss party platform issues and elect delegates to the next tier of conventions, culminating with the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C., in early September.

If you want to get involved and attend a local caucus in Gig Harbor, you can find your location here. For almost all precincts, caucuses will be held 1 p.m., at .

Gig Harbor Patch plans to attend the caucuses and will be covering them live. So we’d like to know: Do you plan to attend, and what topics do you think are the most important for Democrats to address? Tell us in the comments or email us at akiko.oda@patch.com.
