April Student of the Month: Chloe Bethke
The senior at Gig Harbor High School is involved with the Gig Harbor High School Key Club, the Chapel Hill Soar Club, American Sign Language Club and DECA.
Gig Harbor’s Midday Rotary Club has named Chloe Bethke as its April 2013 Student of the Month.
The senior at Gig Harbor High School maintains a 3.4 GPA and is involved with the Gig Harbor High School Key Club, the Chapel Hill Soar Club, American Sign Language Club and DECA.
Bethke is also a Humane Society volunteer, Camp Coleman counselor and is involved in dance and ballet.

Bethke has also been awarded the Student of Distinction Award from the Peninsula Gateway for overcoming adversity.
Her senior project focused on sewing crib quilts for expecting mothers and mentoring other novice seamstresses along the way.

Bethke and her mother have been invited to a Rotary-hosted luncheon to recognize her success and to present her with a certificate of achievement.
