Midday Rotary's December Student of the Month: Avery Unterreiner
The senior at Gig Harbor High School is involved in several organizations at school and in the community.
Gig Harbor’s Midday Rotary Club has named Avery Unterreiner as its December 2011 Student of the Month. The senior at maintains a 3.99 GPA and is active in the Rotary Interact club at school. In addition, she is also involved in GHECO (Gig Harbor Environmental & Community Outreach), the APEX/AIDS Awareness Club and Spanish Club.
Unterreiner has been a member of the Gig Harbor cross country team for the last four years. She and her parents have been invited to a Rotary-hosted luncheon to recognize her achievement and to present her a Certificate of Achievement from the Gig Harbor Midday Rotary.
