Boys Lacrosse: Olson Nets Four Goals to Lead Harbor Fire Past South Kitsap

Harbor Fire's Carey Marchand had three goals, and Desmond Ary, Leif Drathman and Brett Lyon all had a pair for Harbor.

PORT ORCHARD -- Cody Olson netted four goals and grabbed six ground balls as Harbor Fire pulled into sole possession of the Division II Olympic Conference lead with a 15 - 4 boys high school lacrosse win over South Kitsap, Thursday at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Port Orchard.

The win was the sixth of the season and give Harbor a half-game lead over rival Klahowya with heading into Friday's matchup with the Eagles.

South Kitsap never seriously challenged Gig Harbor, as the Eagles took a 6 - 3 lead in the first before scoring three unanswered goals in both the second and third to take a 12 - 3 lead into the final quarter. In the end Harbor put up another three goals to just one South Kitsap score to seal the win.
