Golfers Invited to Golferitaville Charity Tournament

Golfers, good and bad, are invited to enter in the region's Golferitaville, a popular Key West-inspired charity golf tournament, Friday, July 22nd at McCormick Woods Golf Course in Port Orchard. The 7th annual Golferitaville boasts a premier tournament full of prizes, food and beverages at every tee. Golfers have the chance to win a car, a $10,000 cash prizes, trips, gift certificates with over $10,000 in raffle prizes to be given away.

The day begins with a putting contest at 11 am with a large flat screen television as the prize courtesy of Century Link. All golfers are asked to wear tropical attire; tournament hats are provided by Harrision Medical Center. The Cheeseburger in Paradise lunch kicks off at 11:30 hosted by Peninsula Subaru, and the tournament's first stop is at Dimitri's Bloody Mary tent. Following a day of many contests, drawings and fun, a tropical awards dinner concludes the event.

The Key West flavor makes the day unique as golfers and hundreds of pink flamingos bring a tropical flair to the day. Seattle-based  steel drummer, Calypso Ken, provides entertainment throughout the day.

Team entry is $600. Individual entry is $150. Registration forms may be downloaded at www.golferitaville.com or call Cheri Johnson, tournament director, 253-225-6336.
