Gig Harbor-Peninsula Fish Bowl 2013 Attracting Attention
The annual football game between Gig Harbor and Peninsula is scheduled for 7 p.m., Friday.
It's that time of year again, and gridiron fans in the Harbor couldn't be more pumped.
Fish Bowl 2013 is the annual football game between Gig Harbor and Peninsula High. The Seahawks are coming of a 26-14 loss at Bellarmine Prep last week, while the Tides were trailing 35-7 at O'Dea before lightning suspended the game.
While the game between the Seahawks and Tides is a huge deal for many in Gig Harbor and Key Peninsula, it's also attracting attention up and down the Puget Sound.
It was a nominee for KING 5's Game of the Week and was in a tight race with the Bonnney Lake-Sumner matchup for the most votes.
For those who are going, the FISH Bowl is scheduled for 7 p.m., Friday at Gig Harbor High.
