Here Comes the Sun: Forecast Calls for Warm Weather in Gig Harbor

Is summer finally here?
The recent rain and cool temperatures are expected to fade away by Friday, with weekend temperatures in the upper 70s and mid-80s this weekend.
The warming trend will continue until at least Wednesday, with some forecasters predicting temperatures above 90 degrees in certain areas.
In Gig Harbor, the National Weather Service's forecast calls for daytime highs in the mid 80s on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures will climb higher next week, reaching upper 80s by Monday and Tuesday.
Forecasters have yet to say what's in store for the Fourth of July next Thursday.
