Vets Get Free Drink at Java and Clay Today

In honor of Veterans Day, Java and Clay Cafe will be giving out free drinks to veterans.

In honor of Veterans Day, owner, Randy Blue, will be offering free drinks to all veterans and their family members today.

Blue, who also served in the Army from 1985 to 1995, announced the special deal on his business Facebook page:

As a veteran I am extending my hand in gratitude to ALL Veterans. As a business owner I am buying all Veterans a 12oz beverage of choice on Veterans Day.

Blue said vets aren't required to show any identification. Instead, he's relying on an honor-based system.

"Just say you're a vet," he said. "As a soldier, you have a huge commitment, and this is my way of saying thank you."

Stop by for your free 12-ounce drink anytime during regular business hours, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Due to the Liquor Board regulations, the offer excludes alcoholic beverages.
