I am a co-founder of Northwest Response, emergency Preparedness training in Gig Harbor, WA. I am a “Safety Nerd.”

Presently I instruct on emergency response, First Aid/AED/CPR, and hazardous material response.

For the past 20 years I  have resided in Maritime Community of Gig Harbor Washington. Former Assistant Director for Fremont Maritime Services/India Tango where I specialized in Maritime Safety and Response Training.

I continue to work with the United States Coast Guard/AUX  where I hold a Division Staff Officer position in Communications (SO-CS) in the 13th Coast Guard District, and two Flotilla Staff Officer Positions (FSO-CS, FSO-PA) in Communications, and Public Affairs in the 3rd Division. A volunteer with the Red Cross Health Services, and FAST team (First Aid Station Team,) keeps me pretty busy even in the off hours (Safety Nerd.)
